We service the entire state of California and the surrounding States where a California resident committed a non-violent offense in another State and the Judge approves our company to provide the House Arrest Services here in California.
Effective January 1st, 2017 there will be a Travel Charge for all installations. (This excludes clients willing to travel to our Chico Office in Northern California.)
We currently have Regional Managers (retired law enforcement officers and military personnel in good standing) that will schedule appointments and install the GPS Ankle Bracelets in other parts of the state.
Minute Orders issued by Judges must be taken seriously
When a Judge approves Judicial Options.Com to provide offender-paid EM (House Arrest) Services to an individual, please be aware that our commitment and obligation is to the Judge and the Court to make sure you are in Compliance.
The Letter of Completion will not be released proving the time was served unless all Terms and Conditions of the Court Order and our EM Contract are met.
We provide, supervised, offender-paid Electronic Monitoring (House Arrest) Services for non-violent persons for the judicial community.
The client is allowed to go to work, attend classes in school, attend mandatory court-ordered alcohol-drug education classes; deliver children to school, pick up children from school, grocery shopping, etc.
We require the addresses of every location that the client needs to attend and we take these locations and build your GPS Tracking Profile.
The aforementioned places become authorized for you to leave your home as the addresses provided have been placed into your GPS Tracking Profiles thus enabling you to continue with your life and discreetly pay your debt to society. We are alerted of your whereabouts on our Smartphones.
There is a Curfew of 9:00PM unless you are working a shift that requires a later time, the time adjustment will be made in your GPS Tracking Profile.
If an emergency should arise, you must immediately contact us with the situation and address so we can make the adjustment in your GPS Tracking Profile.
Clients Needing to leave the State of California for Travel to Another State: Your Attorney will have to schedule a time on the Court Calendar and request from the Judge in the Case, permission to leave California. We require written approval from the Court.
You must provide us with all airline flight information along with the locations you will be staying and visiting in the other state.
We will write the Travel Authorization Letters for you to present to the TSA so that you may be screened separately from the rest of the travelers to protect your privacy.
The aforementioned protocol policy pertains to all Probation Departments and Federal Agencies; we are responsible for the client while they are in our electronic custody and are liable for their whereabouts and we expect the aforementioned agencies to get permission from the Judge involved in the client's case to take them out of the state of California.
Judicial Options.Com offers a second chance alternative to jail for those individuals that the courts deem qualified that meet their criteria along with meeting the terms and conditions of our EM Application and EM Contract.
Judicial Options.Com is the bridge between the traditional EM (House Arrest) Program provided by the Probation and Sheriff's Departments for individuals where the Judge decides Judicial Options.Com would be better suited.
This alternative to jail is an opportunity to save California taxpayers the cost of housing non-violent, employed persons in local county jails and ease the increasing financial burden of the Courts and law enforcement agencies due to continued severe budget cuts.
Only the Judge in the case can make the decision to allow the individual to participate in our program.
Most cases considered by the courts for our EM program include out-of-jurisdiction cases for first-time DUI, first-time drug possession; cultivation of marijuana; petty theft, possession of stolen property, identify theft, vandalism, food stamp fraud, driving on a suspended Driver's License, etc.
Other offenses are approved provided the Judge has issued a Minute Order granting the client to our EM program.
We want to emphasize again that only the Judge determines the sentence and if the person will be referred to Judicial Options.Com.
We provide photographic proof to the Courts on all installations of the GPS Ankle Bracelet along with professionally written court documents which are the following: Letter of Acceptance; Letter of Compliance and Letter of Completion.
If the client is unemployed, but has a designated financially responsible party for payment, they may be eligible for our EM program.
The client must have a permanent residence.
We use 21st Century state-of-the-art technology with the GPS Monitoring Ankle Bracelets, along with Google® Mapping coordinates provided by the SuperCom.
Progress Reports are available at any time to any law enforcement entity requesting said report on a particular client at no cost.
Installation is quick because the client does not have to order an extra telephone line to be installed.
We need a Judge's Minute Order with the specific number of days to be served ( all deductions for time served, etc., must be made before we are given the Minute Order) along with any other instructions relevant to the sentence.
Our Regional Managers (many of whom are retired Law Enforcement Officers and Military Reservists ) are trained to install the GPS Ankle Bracelets. These Regional Managers are located throughout California to service all jurisdictions.
We program the addresses provided by the client which become authorized inclusion zones which creates the client's GPS Tracking Profile into the PureOne tracking software. The person cannot leave their home unless the location has been authorized through their GPS Tracking Profile.
Authorized locations would include place of employment, mandatory alcohol education classes, school, daycare, church, doctor's office as examples.
We can program (exclusion) location addresses that the client is not authorized to go into the PureOne software. Those unauthorized locations would be ordered by the court.
First and foremost our commitment is to enforce the Court's directives via the Minute Order issued by the Judge in the case. We work for the Court and will enforce all directives from the Court, no exceptions!
A Digital Photo is taken by our Regional Managers, as evidence that the client was installed with the GPS Ankle bracelet along with their California Driver's License or California Identification Card; this proof is sent to the Judge and all related parties in the case along with the Letter of Compliance.
We will not make any adjustments to the number of days of the sentence instructed on the Minute Order. Only the Judge, Sheriff's & Probation Departments involved in the case can reduce the number of days to be served on our offender-paid Electronic Monitoring (House Arrest) program.
Judicial Options.Com treats all of our clients with Respect. We expect the same returned Respect.
We are not here to judge, the client has already been through that process with the courts.
We are committed to the Courts in California that allows the client to participate in our offender-paid House Arrest Program and all clients must comply with the Court's directives or we will report the violation immediately.
The installation/enrollment fee includes the Letter of Acceptance written to the Judge on behalf of the Client along with payment to our Regional Manager assigned to the case for the installation of the GPS ankle bracelet.
All invoices must be paid in full prior to the completion date of our EM program. If we are not paid in a timely manner and the equipment is not returned, we will notify the Court of the incompletion of our EM program.
We will not release the Letter of Completion until we receive the balance of payment and our is equipment returned.
The Letter of Completion will be sent to the Court provided there are no violations to the terms and conditions of our EM program and we receive the timely return of our equipment.
Clients that fail to appear for the scheduled installation of the GPS Ankle Bracelet will forfeit their installation fee. We will also send a letter to the Judge in the case stating our withdrawal of your acceptance into our program.
Clients who are rearrested on another charge will forfeit any monies paid for their house arrest.
We reserve the right to refuse anyone acceptance into our EM Program that shows disrespect to our Regional Managers and other personnel.
